Equity Practitioner Program
Equity Practitioner Program Narrative Campaign
Equity work in high needs schools risked being framed as compliance training rather than identity-rooted leadership.
Educators of color and their allies were repositioned as narrative authorities on systemic inequity, with lived experience centered as institutional expertise. The campaign reframed equity from abstract mandate to community anchored transformation, strengthening program legitimacy with partners and donors.
KEY FINDINGS
Four out of five 4DL program participants work at high-needs schools.
While less than 20% of Delaware teachers are non-white, over forty percent of 4DL program participants are educators of color.
